Directories are another great way to get one way inbound links to a website for free, there are many out there which are very busy and can also provide quite a descent amount of traffic. Only problem with directories are the time it takes to submit to them all also a lot of the larger more useful directories for direct traffic do charge and this can get quite expensive very quickly.
